Kitten in the Darkness by oboeteru Kitten in the Darkness by oboeteru
A drawing that consumed A LOT of my time, at a moment it seemed to me that I would just give up on it.

It's not perfect, but I'm really proud of... ears. I love how the colors blend together.

Oh so sweet . I love the details, exspecialy the nose :)
The contrast of the picture is great, because it made her look a little bit sad.

This looks wonderful! I love the details on the fur, as well as the general colours scheme. It looks like pastel, or scratching card! It must have been hard to work with a dark background...

Thank you. :)
I won't extol well-known software anymore or I'll be banned for advertisement ;). I used 'pencil' tool for drawing it and it was really time-consuming. When it was finally finished, I promised to myself that I won't use pencil as main tool never again.
Sigh... the thing I'm working now is also made with pencil  I started it over year ago and there's still long way to go (but I confess with shame that it happens I don't touch it for two months).

The background wasn't at all troublesome. ArtRage makes drawing with dark backgrounds as easy as if you were working with white one. Another advantage of digital paints ;)

Haha, wow, working one entire yaer on something... You are really dedicated... The most I've done is one month, if longer I just get too tired of it ^^; Good luck with that piece !!!!

Well, yes - it's exactly this! I get angry on the picture like: Oh, no... you again! Buzz off!
So that has to be one of the reason it goes so slow!

What an adorable kitty! I love her (his?) markings. I think you should add a bit more, like show more of his back. I believe it fades out a little too quickly. But it's fine how it is, too, of course. :) If he's facing the light, there should be more reflection of light on his eyes, but if he's not, then it's perfect. I love your attention to detail with his fur, and his whiskers are great. Overall, nice job! :D
